London (South) Overview

The South London region has been managed by Andrew Abouzeid for the last 8 years.  During this time he has steadily grown the grounds maintenance teams & customer base year on year. Today the team is 25 strong & services a broad range of customers from the NHS to commercial & industrial sites, nursing homes, housing associations, hotels, & leisure centres covering over 200 sites. We also work with large number of schools in the region, ranging from primary all the way through to sixth form colleges, with all of our staff being CRB/DBS checked.

We have a continued commitment to staff training programmes including PA1, PA6, health and safety and  environmental training, chainsaw & tree felling, first aid, and machinery maintenance.. This ensures we can offer our customers a broad range of quality services.

Thinking of the Environment

At the South London office we are committed to reducing the impact that our operations have on the environment & continually strive to find new & innovative ways to do this. We aim to recycle all of our waste when possible. We are also looking at different ways to minimise carbon emissions, which can be done by reducing our overall mileage travelled, and by sourcing our products and machinery from local business. We do advise clients to replant trees when we have to fell old or damaged ones, and we supply new trees at a discount.

Schools

Countrywide believe that the 3 most important factors enabling us to deliver you an excellent service are communication with you the client, consistency, and reliability. Therefore we are happy to work around you the client. For example, we can schedule certain visits around parent evenings and sports days so that the school looks its best. While also working on the day and during the hours of your preference, and preferably during lesson times when the children are inside as their safety is paramount to us. We do our weed spraying and larger works during the school holidays so as to minimise the risk of injury to staff and children. All staff are CRB/DBS checked and certificates can be provided upon request. We will provide you with the same team of operatives as Countrywide feel that this provides consistency in the level of work.
